Required Rental Kayak Safety Course
You will need to Complete an Online Safety Course PRIOR to Renting a Kayak.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), requires that the Renter of a Kayak Complete an Online Safety Course PRIOR to the Rental Date. The Course is located at
RentalBoatSafety.com. Please use the Link below. The Course will take just over 13 minutes to Complete.
1. Complete the Course by Watching all Video Clips.
2. Before taking the Test, you will need to Create an Account with your Full Name, Email Address, and Password.
3. Complete the 10-Question Test.
4. Once you have Passed the Test, please Enter your Name and Email Address for your Certificate of Completion.
5. The Certificate will then be Sent to your Email.
6. Please Download the Certificate, and Send a Copy to laketimepontoonrentals@gmail.com.
